Hi @daimor , please consider adding this small note about how your work relates to the official dialect that is now available from PyPI.

Is offical dialect going to be opened ?
what was the reason to start that project, is this one was not good enough?
I did not see any big issues reported with this project, why do not extend it?

The reason we started our own project was to make sure we can offer an official solution for our customers, notably with full enterprise support. We cannot offer that level of support for code not maintained by InterSystems.
Clearly, your repo has illustrated the importance of SQLAlchemy, and we're grateful for the inspiration it offered.

Please note we're not asking you to retire your project at all, just kindly asking to include a reference to the official one. If you'd like to revise the wording, or frame it as a note rather than a warning, that's totally fine.

I see that official driver is just a fork of my code, and it was not mentioned anywhere
why not just officially adopt this project, or ask me to add maintainers?

official dialect offers only WRC support, that means, Community users will not be able to report any issues
I don't see any reasons to recommend "official" driver, it's just my code anyway

I understand that my project is under MIT license, and you mentioned this project and me in the wheel license file

the public package page and release notes do not visibly acknowledge the original project or its author.

Could you please add a clear acknowledgement and link to the original project in the PyPI description, documentation, and/or release notes?

Thank you for the lesson, I'm going to change my license strategy, and use a different license for any new projects, if I'll decide to publish them

btw in your code, there is some debugging left that will appear with any query execution

Hi @daimor , let's have a direct chat rather than on this public forum. I think there is a misunderstanding.
