Any way to easily setup React + electron forge + vite?

I started with electronforge + vite template. Then installed React and Vire react plugin.

Got error:

ERROR: [plugin: externalize-deps] "@vitejs/plugin-react" resolved to an ESM file. ESM file cannot be loaded by `require`.

I have it working properly with @vitejs/plugin-react v4 at the moment 🤔

In any case, I'm hoping to resolve any esm/cjs issues in the next major version: electron/forge#4082

ESM file cannot be loaded by require.

This is also no longer true as of Node.js 22.12
